Started in Annecy in 2009 by two designers who wanted a shoe that could run downhill fast. The oversized midsole and rockered sole looked strange at the time and have been copied by nearly everyone since. Speedgoat for the trails, Clifton and Bondi for the road, all of them soft enough to run on tired legs.
