If you want to be stronger, faster, and more confident in the summer, then use the spring to build a solid foundation. We want to provide trail runners with a couple of the essentials for the local trails and terrain.
DOWNHILL RUNNING CLINICS
Downhill running is a technical skill which takes patience and practice to master. This coming February, Mike Murphy will be leading our DH clinics. Not only will he be providing technical instruction, but there will be real-time video analysis of your technique.
If running downhill makes you nervous, or you feel like you are always losing time to your friends on the descents, this one os for you.

INTRODUCTION TO ROCK CLIMBING...FOR RUNNERS
Anyone who trail runs in the Sea to Sky corridor has likely experienced a moment (or many many moments) of uncertainty and anxiety about some of the technical rock features that are found everywhere. Maybe it was just a wet, low-angle slab - or maybe even some 'hands-on' scrambling in the alpine - but rock skills are a huge component in being efficient and confident on our local terrain.
These clinics, lead by local rock guides, will provide you with some basic rock skills that will become a well used tool in your running repertoire.
