Contest Rules

The Spend $100, Win Shoes contest (the “Contest”) is run by Capra Running Company Ltd., 4-⁠40437 Tantalus Road, PO Box 2695, Garibaldi Highlands, BC V0N 1T0 (“Capra”).

The shoe brands we carry do not sponsor, run, or endorse the Contest.

The Contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are 19 or older when they enter.

Capra employees and the people they live with cannot enter or win.

The Contest runs from November 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. to November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (the “Contest Period”).

Every full $100 CAD you spend at Capra during the Contest Period, in store or online at capra.run, earns one entry. For example, $250 earns two entries and $300 earns three. Your purchases add up across the Contest Period.

We count the amount you paid after discounts, before tax and shipping. Buying a gift card counts. Purchases paid for with a gift card do not, so the same money can't earn two entries. Buying a 30x30 registration does not count either. Purchases returned or refunded before the draw do not count.

We count purchases using the name and email on your order, so give us both at the till when you shop in store. A purchase we cannot match to a person cannot earn an entry.

No purchase is necessary. To enter for free, mail a one-page letter telling us why you love running, with your name and email, to Capra Running Company Ltd., 4-⁠40437 Tantalus Road, PO Box 2695, Garibaldi Highlands, BC V0N 1T0.

Letters must arrive by November 30, 2026. We are not responsible for mail that is lost, late, or unreadable.

There are 10 prizes, each worth $220 CAD before tax and good for one pair of in-stock shoes of the winner’s choice. The total prize value is up to $2,200 CAD. Capra pays the tax on the first $220.

A winner can put their $220 toward a pricier pair and pay the rest, plus the tax on the rest. If a winner picks a pair under $220, they get no cash or credit for the difference.

Winners must choose their shoes by January 31, 2027. They can pick them up at the shop for free, or pay the cost of shipping within Canada. If a winner also orders $175 or more of other items, before tax, we ship the prize free with that order. Prizes have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. A prize can be returned or exchanged only under our normal returns policy, for shoes up to the same value.

Each person can win one prize. If someone is drawn again, we draw another entry.

On December 4, 2026, Capra will draw 10 entries at random from all eligible entries at the shop in Squamish, BC.

Your odds of being drawn depend on how many eligible entries we receive and how many entries you have.

We will contact you by email within 3 business days of the draw. To win, you must reply within 7 days, confirm that you meet these rules, and correctly answer a time-limited math skill-testing question without help.

If you do not reply in time, do not meet these rules, or answer incorrectly, you do not win and we will draw another entry.

We use your name and email to run the Contest and contact winners. Entering does not sign you up for marketing emails.

We will not share a winner’s name or use anyone’s letter publicly without their permission.

By entering, you agree to these rules. We can disqualify any entry made by cheating or by breaking these rules. If something outside our control stops the Contest from running fairly, we can change or end it and will post the change here. These rules follow the laws of British Columbia and of Canada that apply there.
