It was built for skyrunning and high alpine courses, where the trail turns to scree and slab and every foot placement counts. With 22.5 mm of AeroFoam+ at the heel, 17.5 mm at the forefoot and a 5 mm drop, it sits low and firm, so you feel the rock and react to it instead of floating over it. It is a pared-back race shoe, the kind you stop noticing halfway up a long climb.

Scott's Radial Traction outsole gives you the grip to commit on steep, broken ground, and a toe guard takes the hit when you misjudge a step. A TPU cage wraps the Schoeller coldblack and 3XDRY upper to hold your foot still on off-camber traverses. The fit is narrow and precise, best for slim feet. For mountain racers who want to run the descents, not tiptoe down them.
